Boss MT-2 Metal Zone Distortion Pedal Mods
IndyGuitarist/Brian Wampler Modifications

Description - The stock Metal Zone is quite nasally - though mids are important, many feel that the mid frequencies on the stock pedal make the Metal Zone sound terrible. Our first mods to this pedal is removing the circuits inside that are responsible for the nasally tone. Then, we make the pedal freakin' HUGE sounding -- we get a TON of comments from customers who have played the modified MT-2 and can't believe just how different and big, full, fat, nasty, gnarly, and everything in between! It is also possible to clean the gain up tremendously and use this pedal as a slightly dirty parametric eq pedal! After our customers get their modified pedal back they often write us to tell us how much better they like the pedal - how notes now 'jump' out at you in the context of a chord...how the note separation is amazing yet still nice and tight. They love how they can get a big and rounded tone, crunchy organic tone, or abrasive scooped tone after the mod!

Some companies will make you pick from a few different mods. Though we have soundclips of several here, we pride ourselves on creating custom-tailored modifications that make our customers' jaws drop!
