Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What order do your effects go in?
A: Click link above.

Q: What do your mods for ______ pedal sound like?
A: If you send us your pedal, we will custom tailor mods for your personal needs. If you go the DIY route, you can contact us and we will help you create your own personal mod.

Q: Will you do a Keeley/Analogman/Monte/etc mod on my pedal?
A: No - these gentlemen are in business to perform their services. I feel it is not morally right to do that.

Q: Do you accept any payments besides paypal?
A: Yes - we can accept credit cards from addresses in the USA  and you can send a money order or personal check (will be held until it clears, however) if you wish.

Q: Can you make my pedal sound like Steve Vai/Satriani/(name your favorite player)?
A:  No, I'm a realist, and I'm not going to lie to ANYONE-especially just to make a few bucks. If one pedal was all a person needed to get great, unbelievable tone, then Bogner/Diezel/Marshall/Mesa boogie/your favorite amp would be out of business.

What I CAN do, is tweak each and every pedal to their limit, to give you the best tone possible with the equipment you have. Of course, good technique can make the worst equipment sound great, and the bad technique can make the best equipment sound terrible.

Q: What does a rat pedal/ds-1/sd-1/other pedal sound like, and what it sound good with my rig?
A: Check out www.indyguitarist.com/soundclips for more soundclips. I can't tell you if it would sound good or not with your rig--if in doubt, remember this: good technique can make the worst equipment sound great, and a bad technique can make the best equipment sound terrible.
